Please check back on website for rescheduled date. The January 1 date is only a placeholder - the event will not be on New Year's Day.
Miranda Xafa, Alternate Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), will be the key note speaker for this international business event. Attendees will learn about Greek culture, the differences in how business is conducted in Europe compared to other parts of the world, and what consultants working abroad should know about Greek business etiquette. This event will be held at the Greek Embassy on Monday, November 17, at 7pm. Encourage your friends and colleagues to attend so they too can experience Greek culture through Greek food, wine, and our informational speaker! This event is free, but we ask that you register if you plan to attend, so we can gage attendance.

Because of the tumultuous economy, the 2008-2009 MBA Admissions season is shaping up to be one of the most competitive ever. YCDC has invited Jeremy Shinewald, founder of MBA Mission, a leading global MBA admissions consulting firm to speak with our members about how to create standout applications. Jeremy Shinewald is a former ambassadorial speechwriter and will focus on using language to showcase strengths and therefore maintain the attention of admissions officers who read thousands of essays each year.
For candidates who don't want to wait until July to speak with Jeremy, MBA Mission offers a free consultation: www.mbamission.com/consult.php. Furthermore, Jeremy will be available for in-person free consultations on July 10th (details to follow).
The first 20 YCDC members to arrive at the event will get a free drink, courtesy of MBA Mission.
